EXCAVATION VERTICALITY & VOLUME WITH SHAPE®
During excavation construction, verticality may be altered by improper alignment of equipment or slippage of drilling tools, putting verticality out of tolerance and ultimately missing minimum cover requirements. The Shaft Area Profile Evaluator (SHAPE®) is a cost-effective and fast quality assurance testing device used for wet or dry drilled deep foundations to determine the excavation verticality and profile (volume). Ultrasonic/Lidar sensors scan excavation walls while the SHAPE is lowered at a rate of 1 scan per second.

The Thermal Integrity Profiler (TIP™) uses the heat generated by cement during the curing process to reveal any potential inclusions, bulges, voids, or variations in concrete cover. By utilizing TIP technology, a quality assessment can be made typically within a few hours to less than 48 hours from the initial concrete pour. NIST traceable sensors take thermal readings every 15 minutes and TAP-Edge and TAG boxes push that data to PDI Atlas Secure Cloud, allowing users to read the data from anywhere in the world.
